Senior Sales Director - Coractive

As Senior Sales Manager, your role will be to lead the company's sales strategy by coordinating sales development activities. You will be responsible for leading the sales team, identifying potential market opportunities, formulating sales strategy, developing key customers and successfully achieving sales targets.

  • Lead and motivate the sales team.
  • Manage sales progress to ensure implementation of sales strategy and plans.

  • Identify the needs of existing and potential customers.
  • Support team members in developing major customers, managing key customers and maintaining good relationships.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with key customers to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Identify problems in the sales process and take immediate action to resolve them.
  • Meet all sales targets.
  • Participate in various events such as trade shows, seminars, training activities, etc.

We would like the person we are looking for to have the following profile:

  • University degree in a relevant field
  • More than 10 years' experience in the fiber optics or photonics sector
  • Over 5 years' experience in sales and sales management
  • Technical knowledge of products and their use (asset)
  • Commercial knowledge of assigned market segment (asset)
  • Autonomy, initiative, resourcefulness and reliability
  • Leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Business acumen, negotiating skills and ability to seize opportunities
  • Knowledge of CRM principles - Computer skills (Office suite, database)
  • Willingness to travel long distances (approx. 25%)
  • Bilingualism in English and French

Production assistant - Castor


The assistant will perform the following tasks:

  • Operation of various production stations. These stations require the handling of bare optical fiber and the use of specialized, computerized equipment.
  • Keep workstations clean, tidy and functional.
  • Follow development procedures under the supervision of an engineer or supervisor.
  • Tasks and ratios may be subject to change as required.

Profile

  • Asset: More than 3 years' experience in the field of fiber optics handling.
  • Requires fine motor skills, attention to detail and patience.
  • Thorough and rigorous.

  • Basic computer skills.

Engineering physics technologist - Castor


The technologist will perform the following tasks:

  • Production of fiber-reinforced components, including operation of production stations and quality assurance measures.
  • Keep the laboratory clean, tidy and functional. This may include repairing equipment or cleaning stations. Grey room work.
  • Assist in the development of new products under supervision. This may include testing new processes and measuring new products previously designed by an engineer or supervisor.
  • Tasks and proportion of tasks may be subject to change as required.

Profile

DEC in engineering technology physics or equivalent. Preferably with experience, but we accept new graduates.

  • Basic computer skills.

Production engineer - Castor


As part of the engineering and production team, the engineer will work directly under the supervision of the Operations Manager. The engineer will perform the following tasks:

  • Optical, mechanical and/or electronic design of new production modules.
  • Implementation and optimization of production and validation systems (test and measurement, handling and processing of optical fibers, etc.) with a view to increasing efficiency.
  • Programming for start-up and automation of workstations.
  • Development of maintenance and quality assurance procedures.
  • Troubleshooting production operations on request.
  • Support research and development efforts with engineering and production teams.
  • Tasks and ratios may be subject to change as required.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in physical, mechanical, electrical or computer engineering.

  • Thorough and rigorous.
  • Self-motivated, easy learner.
  • Knowledge of Python and Labview programming languages.
  • Asset: CAD drawing skills.
  • Asset: Bilingual written and spoken (French/English).
